She turns evil inside out, and we gain a new perspective on existence and relationships.Lindsay was a normal girl who wanted a normal life of love, marriage and babies. However, on her 21st birthday she gets the shock of her life when a red demon appears and places a ring on her finger. Suddenly, she is married! She learns a dark secret that her soul had been signed away in marriage to the Devil since her infancy.
Lindsay holds stubbornly to the fact that she wishes he'd free her so she can get back to a normal life. And yet what is normal?
Big Red truly loves her and promises to give her any gift she wants. Yet, she insists she wants freedom though she has moments of pity for Big Red. She clings to the idea of a normal life. Big Red tries clinging to her, as she is the only pure thing he loves in his life.
Suddenly, the story shifts gears as Lindsay is haunted by a ghost from the past who indirectly teaches her the true meaning of love and sacrifice.
Can Lindsay find it in her heart to give up her notions of normal to see the infinite possibilities of a unique love?
Lorraine's humor is refreshing and her skill at giving us a unique, heart-touching story is superb! She changes our perspective by the end of the story. This is a story well worth reading!

This short gave me a very satisfactory read. I fell in love with the devil and had a laugh too.
Worth my time and money and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quick read that manages to capture you from start to finish.

When she was a baby Lindsay’s dad sold her to the Devil as a bride in exchange for his soul, so when Lindsay turns 21 and Big Red (her name for him) shows up and claims her as his she’s quite surprised. And not in a good way. All she wants is to live a normal life and all Big Red wants is for Lindsay to be happy. How on Earth (and in Hell) are they going to resolve this situation?
I love, love, love this story. Lindsay’s dilemma, Big Red’s dilemma and the evil that is her dad. Well-written with great characters, for such a short story I was completely sucked in from the beginning and then when it ended I just wanted it to go on and on. I will definitely be checking out more books by Lorraine Sears.
