We also learn more about many of the characters' romantic interests. Of course, McDroll sprinkles this with her usual gallows humor.A note to U.S. readers: I know what you're thinking. You're hesitant to give this series a chance because you won't "get" the Scottish references and humor. Let me reassure you. As a guy in Midwest U.S., I wouldn't have made it to the third part of this series if I didn't "get" it. McDroll is one of the most capable crime authors out there for a reason.
